Cromlet – a little luck, a little strategy and a whole lot of fun! A very unique game design where no one is the clear winner until the very last move.
Cards are played, Crowns are laid, Cromlets are claimed, and “Dead” cards often remain. Sounds easy, but wait….Replacement cards may be drawn, Wild cards may cause a spoil, and a player’s strategy may cause turmoil.
Players never know when a Cromlet will be claimed, and timing is everything in this game. Suddenly a player claims their maximum number of Cromlets, and their strategy switches to blocking other player’s moves.
Players will try to foil each other’s moves. Enter into the mix six “Wild” cards that may be played at any time, along with the rule that occasionally forces a player to claim a Cromlet with a low point value, and you have a very fun, strategic and interactive game called Cromlet! Enjoy your Family and Friends as you play Cromlet, and HAVE FUN!
Ages 8 to Adult. Recommended for 2 to 6 Players * Individuals or Teams”. Approximate playing time is 35-45 minutes.
Game Overview:
Players compete for high score by claiming Cromlets at strategic times during the game. There are twenty-four Cromlets on the game board, and each Cromlet contains from three to eight different point values. Players collect points by claiming Cromlets based on the cards they play.
Each Cromlet may only be claimed once during the game. A point value for a Cromlet may only be claimed when all lower point values within the Cromlet have been closed from previous play.
Players are limited as to the number of Cromlets they may claim, so the timing of when to claim a Cromlet is very important during game play. Claim a Cromlet too soon and you will collect fewer points than if you waited for a higher point value later in the game. But wait too long, and another player may claim that Cromlet during their turn by playing a different point value card or by playing a “Wild” card.
Game play ends immediately once one of the players can no longer play a card. High score wins.
